a few of my favorite things: home, vol. 1

I posted a few cute decor items that I have at home on my Instagram stories this week and my followers went nuts! All 10 of them! But, it did give me the idea to start regularly sharing my favorite things. All of these are very budget-friendly and an easy way to elevate your home right now.

  1. Framed Canvas Art - This looks way more expensive than it is and is one of the more modern pieces Target has right now. It was the perfect addition to our bathroom, because it doesn’t feel like “bathroom art”

  2. White Bud Vase - I bought this (it comes in a set of 6) and a few of the other vase (#3) to use for our engagement dinner and wedding. I love the texture and shape.

  3. Speckled Bud Vase - The key to making these feel more expensive is to coat them with clear, matte spray paint. It takes away the shine and makes them look more handmade.

  4. Wax Warmer - The one I have is sold out, but this is a great alternative. I use it for all of the leftover wax I end up with when a candle’s wick runs out (and then I hoard the holders to use as small storage). This is especially great for those pesky Anthro candles that burrow down so fast, but smell so good.

  5. Dried Flowers - What do you put in those small vases? Dried flowers or eucalyptus (which you can also dry by just not adding water)

  6. Table Lamp - The shape feels both classic and modern. The warm-toned shade adds the perfect amount of coziness to our dining room.

  7. Mugs - I’ve had these for a while and grab for them every day. They’re durable, a great size, and blend in with some of my more expensive kitchen stuff.

  8. Coupe Glass - Personally, I like having multiple options for my champagne. Use these for that fancy bottle you’ve been saving for no reason.
